Lauren Pavlic LPC

Lauren Pavlic is a Licensed Professional Counselor that specializes in helping individual adults, college students, and couples. She loves to help folks struggling with guilt, women with anger issues, and perfectionists. Lauren also enjoys focusing on women’s issues, and relationship/dating issues.

One of Lauren’s main philosophies is that her clients aren’t failures or broken because they choose to come to counseling. In fact, she believes everyone grows up learning unspoken rules about what they should and shouldn’t do as a decent human being, when in reality, there’s a lot of rules that simply need to be readjusted. Lauren provides a non-judgmental space to better understand each client’s struggle.

Some clients begin therapy with a clear idea of the changes they want to make, while others know they want a difference in their lives but are less clear on what that needs to be. She works to help people through difficult challenges while incorporating humor and supportive direction.

Her counseling theories used during therapy include Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Rational Emotive Therapy, Transactional Analysis, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Gottman Method. She also uses solution-focused techniques to help identify and set goals.  Lauren offers both in-person counseling and telehealth counseling

Together, Lauren and her clients find the motivation needed to get out of a spiraling hole of negativity and into a fulfilling and satisfying life. To work with Lauren, call 304-381-3659 extension 5, or click here and fill out the contact form!
