Supervision and Consultation
Supervision is available from Jonathan Pishner, an Approved Licensed Professional Supervisor. Jonathan offers comprehensive supervision for students in their field placement, graduated pre-licensed counselors, as well as post-license supervision and consultation. His supervision includes (but is not limited to) case and client discussions, detailed feedback, review of audio and video recordings, review of session notes, continuous performance evaluations, and in-depth discussions on integrating theory with practice.
Jonathan also offers “drop-in” consultations during set scheduled times, allowing therapists to join a video conference call to receive guidance in any of the consultant’s areas of expertise, including but not limited to the following:

- ADHD
- Anxiety Disorders
- Anger
- Couples Counseling
- Cognitive Behavior Therapy
- Impact Therapy
- Reality Therapy
- Therapeutic Techniques
- Private Practice Development
Certain complex situations will be beyond the scope of the consultation format. Situations such as ethical dilemmas, active suicidal ideations, any endangerment of clients or other persons, and other areas may require more methodical and detailed consultation. In this case, more extensive individual consultation is more appropriate, and the individual supervision/consultation rate will apply.
