Continuing Education
Our goal is to provide Continuing Education Units (CEUs) that are both meaningful and practical. We are dedicated to delivering well-organized, easily accessible, and highly valuable learning experiences that enhance professional growth and ensure attendees receive quality educational resources.
Our CEUs are specifically designed for mental health therapists. By attending our sessions, counselors will earn pre-approved contact hours from the WV Board of Examiners in Counseling. We offer flexible training options, available both in-person at our office in historic downtown Morgantown and online via Zoom for those who prefer a virtual format.
Upcoming CEU Trainings
Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET) Course – This will be a 6 part course designed to make participants ready to utilize Narrative Exposure Therapy by the end of the six sessions. The primary instructor will be Eva Barnewitz, who has been practicing this approach for 10 years, including in areas of war and crisis. This training will be fully online.
Cost for the training will be $1000 for all six sessions for professionals, $500 for current graduate students.

- April 11 – Demonstration of Exposure session; Trauma-related self-care for therapists and clients
- May 16 – Extensive practice of Exposure session
- May 23 – Demonstration of Lifeline Session and Practice of Lifeline Session
- July 25 – Dealing with Dissociation in NET and Practice of Exposure Session
- August 1 – Case Examples from participants, Supervision, Q&A
